Just a quick update- Rosko recently got neutered and I was informed by the vet that they found two tumors while doing the surgery. They have sent the masses out for a biopsy, and we should know the outcome in about a week. Because his berries hadn't dropped, the vet had to go in through his abdomen, like a spay and he now has to wear an inflatable collar that looks like a doughnut for about two weeks. Rosko's behavior is back to normal, thankfully, and hopefully we won't have any terrible news in a week.
We have two weddings coming up in May, which starts the beginning of the busy social season. Summer is slowly getting booked up which is both good and bad. I just wish I could say no once in awhile, but all the events sound too good to pass up.
Over the last weekend, I had calls from two extended family members that I haven't talked to in a very long time. I haven't had communication from one cousin for at least 10 years! I'm kicking myself for not checking my voicemail, because he was in the San Francisco area and wanted to get together. It makes me feel really grateful for family and people that you can call after many years and it feels like you just talked to them yesterday.
My brain is a little fried after a day of non-stop calling at work. Maybe next time I'll have something clever to say.
